There’s too many people unwilling to live a simple life.
I’m still dwelling on how fast 2017 past and at times looking at those precious memories from then gets me slightly emotional 😌
Another trimester of school has begun and I’m still stuck in the holiday moods. Tell me guys it’s 6 subjects packed with projects to be completed in 13weeks. How can!? Is there no chances for social life too??😭 meh.
Got to meet up with this bunch before we all disappear again due to school
Celebrating this dude’s 18th and finally getting to try this from Tsujiri (It was all alrights 🤷🏻♀️) and meet my new Bae too
Have a good one y’all ☺️
PS: I can’t wait for Phuket in April ☺️
It’s been a Long while since I’ve been here 😓, but I just have to end the year off with a post. I remembered how my goals for 2017 was to be embrace and appreciate changes and be grateful and generous. 2017 has been full of changes and there will be more to come in 2018 but I shall remain positive for the changes to come. Despite failing slightly on the grateful part at times, I’d make up for it by embracing the changes.
I’ll do better in 2018. I know. 💪🏻
Here’s some throwback to the highlights of 2017:

Today’s itinerary Tosokchon Sangyetang > Gyeogbokgung Palace > Bukchon Hanok village > Insadong > Dongdaemun > Hongdae
Hey guys I’m rewriting this post since I kind of accidentally deleted it. 😭
Our first stop of the day is Tosokchon Samgyetang which is near the Palace. This place is really famous and known to most tourists and locals. As they can get really busy during the weekends and peak hours, we came here for lunch before heading to the palace.
Address: 5, Jahamun-ro 5-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
서울특별시 종로구 자하문로5길 5 (체부동)
Directions: Take exit 2 of Gyeongbokgung station, walk straight for about 150m before heading into the alley for 10m.
We then headed to the palace by heading back into the same exit and taking a different exit to the palace to avoid the hot sun. 😀 This is my third time here and I cannot get over how beautiful this place is. The palace is like a teeny bit of their rich history located right in the middle of the city. 😍😍😍
After touring around the palace and taking many pictures, we then took the subway to Anguk station to go to Bukchon Hanok village. It is actually possible to walk there from the palace but being the lazy us oh wells😂😂
We decided to be smart asses and not use the citymappers app and rely on the map that we saw at the subway station. In the end, we got lost and had to U-turn again to get back to where we started from. We end up taking a break at Starbucks first since we were exhausted already 😂😂😂
Starting our journey again from the same exit. We GOT LOST again halfway through and happened to reach a tourist information center who gave us exact directions to the village . 😃😃
FINALLY! The view is definitely worth the journey tho. Super pretty! Be sure to keep your voices down as this is a residential estate and many people are living here.
Next stop, Insadong. We know we would not be able to make it there without the help of anyone, we asked one of those tourist police to help us. He gave us a map of the area and highlighted the route out for us! So thankful for that. Just take another look at the view guys. 😍
Along the way there was a street with many stores and snacks. We stopped by the convenience store to get an ice cream. Despite the bad throat, I could not resist anymore. Then, we saw this korean snack store which once again I cannot resist. Yum yum. 😋There’s just so many things to see around here. 😍
Traditional korean costumes; Hanbok for rent. Some traditional korean candy sorthathing. Walked around this plaza called Ssamziegil which has alot of shops selling handicrafts and all.
Address: 44 Insadong-gil, Gwanhun-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South KoreaWalking to the end of the street and crossing a traffic light leads us back to the subway station. We then took it to Dongdaemun station. Taking exit 9 which leads the different fashion malls like Hello apm, doota and migilore. Firstly, we passed by the Cheonggyecheon stream. It is so beautiful and picturesque. We went to have dinner first at Yoogane in one of the shophouses next to the malls. It is so good and so much cheaper than having it in Singapore. Definitely a must eat in Korea. After walking around the different malls, we headed across the street to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). They have this light setup of many MANY roses across the whole field. Such a view 😍 Especially when the weather is cooling, it just feels so relaxing to take a walk along the ‘park’. Finally we then headed back to Hongdae area for abit of the buskings before heading back to our airbnb. Its interesting to see many young people out there performing and doing what they like during the weekends and heading back to school on weekdays.
